Empowering Students To Step Into STEM — Without Fear

FITS is a student-led nonprofit built to help students break out of their shell and confidently explore STEM fields. We believe STEM is for everyone.

Bring FITS To Your School

Our Mission

FITS (Future Innovators Through STEM) was founded by Ezra Esquivel to create a space where students feel comfortable exploring STEM. It started in high school as student-led panels — because sometimes it’s easier to learn from someone who feels relatable.

Our goal is simple: Make STEM approachable, hands-on, and empowering.

What We Do

Student Panels

Student-to-student conversations about AI, engineering majors, robotics, and real-world STEM applications like ChatGPT.

Hands-On STEM

  • Hydraulics & Pneumatics
  • PLCs & Automation
  • Robotics (FANUC, Kawasaki, Cobalt)
  • Drones & SeaPerch
  • Lego Robotics
  • Welding & Fabrication

Workshops (Coming Soon)

Expanding into structured workshops that schools can implement with clear guides and student leadership.

Start FITS At Your School

FITS provides a structured, student-led model that schools can adopt to build sustainable STEM exposure programs on their campus.

Step 1 — Build the Leadership Core

Identify motivated student leaders and secure a faculty advisor. FITS chapters are student-led, with structure and accountability.

Step 2 — Host Your First Industry Panel

Bring real-world STEM professionals into your school to expose students to engineering, AI, manufacturing, and emerging technologies.

Step 3 — Expand Into Structured Programming

Develop consistent STEM engagement through annual panels, workshops, and hands-on learning experiences.
